Job summary

Hanger, Inc. in Cincinnati, OH is seeking a Certified Prosthetist and/or Orthotist (CP/CPO) to join a three-person clinic.

The role emphasizes autonomy, direct patient relationships, and delivering high-quality orthotic and prosthetic care in a supportive team environment. You will assess patients, design and fit devices, and collaborate with physicians to optimize outcomes while maintaining compliance with practice guidelines and Medicare regulations.

Qualifications

• Board certification in prosthetics and/or orthotics (ABC or BOC) is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in prosthetics/orthotics or foreign equivalent with ABC-Eligibility.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to obtain state licensure if required.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with physicians to evaluate prosthetic/orthotic needs and options.
• Design, fabricate, fit and adjust prosthetic or orthotic devices.
• Perform measurements, casting, and alignments for patient visits.
• Provide patient instruction and follow-up to ensure satisfaction.
• Document clinical notes accurately in patient records.
