Qualifications

• Thorough understanding of biomechanics and gait analysis.
• Bachelor's degree in prosthetics and/or orthotics.
• ABC or BOC certification or eligibility required.

Responsabilités

• Collaborate with physicians in evaluating need for prosthetic/orthotic services and recommend options.
• Examine and evaluate patient needs related to disease and functional loss.
• Design prosthetic/orthotic devices and select materials.
• Take casts, perform model modifications and layouts; ensure proper fit.
• Provide fitting, including static and dynamic alignments; follow-up with patients.
• Document detailed clinical notes and provide patient education.
