Job summary

Hanger, Inc. in Indianapolis, Indiana is seeking a Certified Prosthetist/Orthotist (CPO) to provide exceptional prosthetic and orthotic care, manage an active caseload, and help grow patient services regionally. You will collaborate with experienced clinical leaders while delivering high-quality outcomes for patients.

Applicants must hold ABC/BOC certification or be eligible, bring a strong biomechanical foundation, and are prepared to work in a dynamic team within a growing Midwest practice.

Qualifications

• Current ABC/BOC certification in prosthetics and/or orthotics.
• Bachelor's degree in prosthetics/orthotics or foreign equivalent with ABC eligibility.
• Valid driver's license and driving record in policy standards.
• Ability to obtain state licensure where required.
• May consider candidates with substantial unlicensed experience under supervision.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with physicians to evaluate need for prosthetic/orthotic services.
• Examine patient needs related to disease and functional loss.
• Formulate design of prosthetic and/or orthotic devices.
• Take casts, select materials, and plan device layouts.
• Perform fitting and alignments; ensure medical efficacy and quality.
• Provide follow-up with patients and physicians; document notes.
