Job summary

Hanger, Inc. seeks a Certified Prosthetist/Orthotist (CPO) at our Stockton, California clinic to provide orthotic and prosthetic care across adults and pediatrics.

This role emphasizes clinical variety, autonomy, and collaboration with an experienced fitter to handle routine volume while focusing on higher-level interventions. The position offers hospital-based patient care without evening or weekend on-call responsibilities, a stable schedule, and opportunities to expand pediatric services

Qualifications

• Current ABC and/or BOC certification or eligible

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with physicians and case managers to evaluate patient needs and plan prosthetic/orthotic care.
• Examine and evaluate patient needs related to disease and functional loss.
• Design and fabricate prosthetic and/or orthotic devices; select materials and take measurements.
• Perform fitting, incl. static and dynamic alignments; ensure proper fit and function.
• Provide patient instruction and follow-up care; document detailed clinical notes.
• Mentor residents or newly certified clinicians; assist administrative staff as needed.
• Adhere to safety, Medicare, OSHA regulations; may be posted to other Hanger Clinic locations.
