Job summary

Hanger Clinic is seeking a Certified Prosthetist Orthotist (CPO) in Mayfield Heights, Ohio. You will assess patients, design and fit prosthetic/orthotic devices, and work with a collaborative clinical team to improve patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Current ABC or BOC certification in Prosthetics and/or Orthotics.
• Bachelor's degree in prosthetics and/or orthotics or equivalent.
• Ability to work with physicians and allied health staff to plan patient care.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with physicians to evaluate prosthetic/orthotic needs and recommend treatment options.
• Assess patient needs and develop/provide prosthetic/orthotic care plans.
• Design, fabricate, fit, and adjust prostheses and orthoses for patients.
• Educate patients on device use and expected outcomes.
• Provide follow-up with patients and physicians and document clinical notes.
• Mentor residents or junior clinicians when appropriate.
• Maintain compliance with safety, regulatory and reimbursement requirements.
