Creative Financial Staffing, LLC is seeking a Certified Payroll Specialist to manage multi-state payroll, including union and prevailing wage requirements. This role offers visibility across projects and a chance to influence payroll accuracy in a high-impact environment.

Ideal candidates will have 3+ years of certified/multi-state payroll experience, strong knowledge of prevailing wage, and proficiency with payroll systems and Excel.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of payroll experience, certified payroll or construction background preferred.
• Experience with prevailing wage, union payroll, and multi-state payroll.
• Knowledge of payroll compliance, deductions and reporting requirements.
• Proficiency in payroll systems and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Process multi-state payroll for union and non-union employees.
• Prepare and submit certified payroll and prevailing wage reports.
• Review time, wage classifications, and deductions for accuracy.
• Manage union benefit reporting and payroll records.
• Handle payroll adjustments, garnishments, and tax changes.
• Support audits and respond to payroll-related inquiries.
