Job summary

NueHealth is seeking a Surgical Technologist to support the operating room team as the primary scrub on both minor and major procedures. The role involves assisting physicians and nurses, maintaining sterile technique, and ensuring patient safety in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma, certification as a Surgical Technologist, and at least three years of OR experience, plus current BCLS and vaccine compliance.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Certification as a Surgical Technologist.
• Three years previous experience as an operating room technician.
• Current BCLS; COVID and Flu vaccination compliant.

Responsibilities

• Assist surgeon and nurses in perioperative procedures.
• Maintain sterile technique and asepsis per national standards.
• Prepare instruments and supplies for upcoming cases.
• Assist in scrubbed cases and patient care logistics.
• Ensure room readiness and safety for each procedure.
