Job summary

SCA Health is actively hiring a Non-Certified Surgical Technologist. The role involves scrubbing during operative procedures, preparing instruments, and maintaining room readiness for subsequent patients across our ambulatory centers in the United States.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, completion of a Surgical Technologist course, and at least two years in an operating room. ASC experience and ORT certification are preferred. USD 26.00–37.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED certification.
• Completion of Surgical Technologist course.
• Two years previous operating room experience.
• ASC experience preferred.
• ORT certification preferred.
• Training program for surgical technology in US armed forces/public health service.

Responsibilities

• Function as a scrub person during operative and other invasive procedures.
• Clean and prepare surgical instruments for processing and transport them to the decontamination areas.
• Assist with post procedure cleaning of the operative or other invasive procedure room and preparation of room for subsequent patients.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
