Job summary

NueHealth is seeking a dedicated OR Surgical Tech for our Ambulatory Surgery Center. Under supervision, you will fill the surgical scrub role across a range of procedures, assisting physicians and nurses while maintaining sterile technique and patient safety.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma, certification as a Surgical Technologist, and current BCLS, with preferred two years of operating room experience. This is a full-time, on-site position.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Certification as a Surgical Technologist required.
• Two years of operating room experience desired.
• Current BCLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Decision making concerning equipment and/or instrumentation sterilization
• Bio hazardous waste disposal
• Patient care and patient flow
• Assists surgeon in scrubbed cases
• Pulls supplies for upcoming cases
• Maintains a safe work environment in compliance with OSHA standards
