Job summary

Lincoln Meadows Care Center in California is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our rehab team. This role focuses on hands-on patient care, helping residents improve independence and quality of life in a supportive skilled nursing environment.

Qualifications

• Active California COTA license or eligible to apply.
• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

• Familiarity with Net Health or PointClickCare is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy treatments under supervision of an OT.
• Help residents regain strength, mobility, confidence and independence.
• Maintain accurate documentation per facility guidelines.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team on patient-centered care.
• Educate residents and families and build relationships.
• Bring compassion, positivity and energy to work daily.

What We’re Looking For

• Active California Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) License — or eligible to apply
• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Passion for improving the lives of others
• Skilled nursing experience is a plus, but not required
• Familiarity with Net Health or PointClickCare is helpful
