Linwood Meadows Care Center in Visalia, CA is hiring a Full-Time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join a compassionate rehab team. You will work under the supervision of an OT to help residents regain independence in daily living and mobility.

The role requires an accredited Associate's degree, CA COTA license, and preferred SNF or post-acute care experience. Excellent communication and EHR skills are essential in a team-focused environment.

Qualifications

Salary range: $40-$45/hour BOE

Position Summary

The Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant works under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist to provide rehabilitative services to residents, helping them regain independence in activities of daily living and functional mobility.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care as outlined in the treatment plan developed by the Occupational Therapist
• Assist in the implementation of treatment goals and plans
• Monitor patient progress and report changes to the Occupational Therapist
• Accurately document treatments and patient responses using facility systems (e.g., Casamba, PointClickCare)
• Educate residents, families, and staff on therapy goals and home exercise programs
• Participate in team meetings, care planning, and discharge planning as needed
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and facility regulations and policies
