Mercy is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to support comprehensive patient care across ages under supervision of a licensed OT. You will assist with initial assessments, document progress, administer therapeutic modalities, and maintain accurate records in alignment with Mercy policies and standards.

You should be a graduate of an accredited OTA program, with an active or eligible license and BLS certification.

Qualificações

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapist Assistant program.
• Current OTA license or eligible for licensure in state of practice.
• One year experience preferred; new graduates considered.
• BLS certification required and current.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with initial assessment on each patient under supervision and per departmental policies.
• Document course of patient care including progress notes and continuing need for treatment per policy.
• Administer modalities, exercise regimes or treatment procedures per standards of care.
• Maintain progress notes and departmental records for each patient.
• Participate in department education and knowledge sharing.
• Demonstrate understanding of needs across neonatal to geriatric age groups.
