Job summary

Regency Hospital - Upstate in Anderson, SC seeks a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for full-time night shifts (7 p.m. – 7 a.m.). You will perform direct patient care, bathing, feeding, rounds, and transport patients as needed, while keeping rooms clean and stocked.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED or 3+ years of relevant work experience.
• BLS certification within 90 days of hire.
• Hospital experience as CNA or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform services for patients including bathing, oral hygiene, oral feeding and hair care.
• Participate in hourly rounds.
• Transport patients to treatment centers and assist transporters.
• Maintain cleanliness of bedpans, urinals, wheelchairs, and other instruments.
• Keep patient rooms clean and stocked.
• Maintain unit stock levels of supplies and equipment.

Compensation: $18.00 to $21.94 per hour

Responsibilities

• Perform services for patients including bathing using basin-less bath products, oral hygiene, oral feeding and care of hair

• Participate in hourly rounds

• Transport patients to and from various treatment centers when necessary, and assist transporters in moving patients in and out of stretchers and wheelchairs

• Maintain the cleanliness of various instruments and equipment such as bedpans, urinals and wheelchairs

• Keep patients’ rooms in clean and orderly condition

• Maintain unit stock levels of supplies and equipment as directed

• Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED OR relevant work experience (3+ years)

• BLS is required within 90 days of hire

• Hospital experience as a nursing assistant, certification as a nursing assistant or experience in a related field (i.e. medical assistant, actively enrolled RN student)
