Job summary

Regency Hospital - Florence in Florence, SC is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for full-time day shifts from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. The role supports post-ICU recovery patients and requires CNA certification, BLS, and hospital CNA experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent with 3+ years related experience.
• BLS certification required within 90 days of hire.
• Current CNA certification is required.
• Hospital CNA experience or related field experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform bathing using basin-less products and assist with oral hygiene and feeding.
• Participate in hourly rounds and assist in patient mobility.
• Transport patients as needed and assist transporters with wheelchairs/stretchers.
• Maintain cleanliness of bedpans, urinals, and wheelchairs.
• Keep patient rooms clean and stocked; monitor supplies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Perform services for patients including bathing using basin-less bath products, oral hygiene, oral feeding and care of hair
• Participate in hourly rounds
• Transport patients to and from various treatment centers when necessary, and assist transporters in moving patients in and out of stretchers and wheelchairs
• Maintain the cleanliness of various instruments and equipment such as bedpans, urinals and wheelchairs
• Keep patients’ rooms in clean and orderly condition
• Maintain unit stock levels of supplies and equipment as directedPerforms other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED OR relevant work experience (3+ years)
• BLS is required within 90 days of hire
• Certification as a nursing assistant
• Hospital experience as a nursing assistant or experience in a related field (i.e. medical assistant, actively enrolled RN student)
