Job summary

Select Specialty Hospital - Daytona Beach is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant for the night shift. The position offers a $2,500 sign-on bonus, full-time schedule from 7pm to 7am, and comprehensive orientation to support a smooth transition into our post-ICU setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or 3+ years of related work experience.
• BLS certification required within 90 days of hire.
• Hospital experience as CNA or related field; CNA certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient bathing using basin-less products, oral care, oral feeding and hair care.
• Participate in hourly rounds.
• Transport patients to and from treatment centers and assist transporters with moving patients in and out of stretchers and wheelchairs.
• Maintain cleanliness of instruments and equipment such as bedpans, urinals and wheelchairs.
• Keep patients' rooms clean and orderly; restock supplies as directed.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• High school diploma/GED OR relevant work experience (3+ years)
• BLS is required within 90 days of hire
• Hospital experience as a nursing assistant, certification as a nursing assistant or experience in a related field (i.e. medical assistant, actively enrolled RN student)
