Select Specialty Hospital in Panama City, FL is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our night shift team. This full-time role offers a $2,000 sign-on bonus and hourly compensation of $16.73-$22.50, with night and weekend differential.

As a CNA, you will assist with bathing, oral care, rounds, transport patients, and keep rooms and equipment clean while supporting a compassionate post-ICU care environment for critically ill patients.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED OR 3+ years of relevant work experience.
• BLS certification within 90 days of hire.
• Hospital experience as CNA or related field.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with bathing, oral hygiene, and general personal care.
• Participate in hourly rounds and monitor patient needs.
• Transport patients to treatment centers and assist movers with stretchers/wheelchairs as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness of patient rooms, equipment, and stock supplies.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

• Perform services for patients including bathing using basin-less bath products, oral hygiene, oral feeding and care of hair
• Participate in hourly rounds
• Transport patients to and from various treatment centers when necessary, and assist transporters in moving patients in and out of stretchers and wheelchairs
• Maintain the cleanliness of various instruments and equipment such as bedpans, urinals and wheelchairs
• Keep patients’ rooms in clean and orderly condition
• Maintain unit stock levels of supplies and equipment as directed
• Performs other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED OR relevant work experience (3+ years)
• BLS is required within 90 days of hire
• Hospital experience as a nursing assistant, certification as a nursing assistant or experience in a related field (i.e. medical assistant, actively enrolled RN student)
