Job summary

Regency Hospital - Florence is a critical illness recovery hospital seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for night shift in Florence, South Carolina. You will provide patient care, including bathing, oral hygiene, feeding, and rounds, while ensuring comfort and safety.

Responsibilities include transporting patients, maintaining equipment and rooms, and supporting a collaborative care team. Minimum qualifications include a CNA certification and BLS within 90 days of hire.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED or 3+ years relevant work experience.
• BLS certification due within 90 days of hire.
• Certification as a nursing assistant.
• Hospital experience as a nursing assistant or experience in a related field.

Responsibilities

• Perform services for patients including bathing using basin-less bath products, oral hygiene, oral feeding and care of hair.
• Participate in hourly rounds
• Transport patients to and from various treatment centers when necessary, and assist transporters in moving patients in and out of stretchers and wheelchairs
• Maintain the cleanliness of various instruments and equipment such as bedpans, urinals and wheelchairs
• Keep patients’ rooms in clean and orderly condition
• Maintain unit stock levels of supplies and equipment as directed
• Performs other duties as assigned

Compensation: $18.05 to $22.00 per hour

• BLS is required within 90 days of hire
• Certification as a nursing assistant
• Hospital experience as a nursing assistant or experience in a related field (i.e. medical assistant, actively enrolled RN student)
