Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role preferred.
• CNA when required by the state.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Able to read, write, and verbally communicate in English.

• Adhere to dignity, privacy, independence, and a home-like environment for residents.
• Assist with ADLs, environmental orientation, and self-care encouragement.
• Provide services per resident service plans including bathing, toileting, transfers, and mobility assistance.
• Build relationships with residents to support compassionate care.

As a Certified Nurse Assistant, you are responsible for the following:

• Adhere to and convey a philosophy of supporting dignity, privacy, independence, choice, individuality, and a home-like environment for residents.
• Assist with instrumental activities of daily living, ADLs, environmental orientation, and assistance with other care while encouraging self-care and independence.
• Provide services as indicated on resident service plans, including but not limited to bathing assistance, toileting assistance, transfer, and mobility assistance.
• Build relationships with the amazing people who live in our community.
