Job summary

Trustwell Living is seeking caring CNAs and Caregivers to join our devoted team in Sherman, Texas. You will support residents with daily activities, preserve dignity, privacy, and independence, and contribute to a warm, home-like environment.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, state certification as required, and a willingness to obtain CPR/First Aid. Weekend and holiday availability are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Completion of the current state-specific certification where required.
• willingness to obtain CPR/First Aid Certification.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to philosophy of dignity, privacy, independence and home-like environment for residents.
• Assist with ADLs, environmental orientation and other care while encouraging self-care and independence.
• Provide services per resident plans including bathing, toileting, transfer and mobility assistance.
• Build relationships with residents in the community.

As a Caregiver/Nurse Aid at Trustwell Living, your responsibilities will include:

• Adhere to and convey a philosophy of supporting dignity, privacy, independence, choice, individuality, and a home-like environment for residents.
• Assist with instrumental activities of daily living, ADLs, environmental orientation, and assistance with other care while encouraging self-care and independence.
• Provide services as indicated on resident service plans, including but not limited to bathing assistance, toileting assistance, transfer, and mobility assistance.
• Build relationships with the amazing people who live in our community.

The ideal candidate will:

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of the current state-specific certification, where required.
• Be willing to obtain CPR/First Aid Certification
• Have a genuine interest in caring for elderly residents and working in a geriatric environment
• Must be available some weekends and holidays*
