Job summary

Trustwell Living at Kingsbury Place is seeking Caregivers and CNAs to join our passionate team in Defiance, Ohio. You will assist residents with daily living activities, promote dignity and independence, and help maintain a warm, home-like environment.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, state certification as required, and a willingness to obtain CPR/First Aid Certification. Weekend and holiday availability is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of the current state-specific certification, where required.
• Be willing to obtain CPR/First Aid Certification.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to philosophy of dignity, privacy, independence, choice, individuality, and a home-like environment for residents.
• Assist with ADLs and other care while encouraging self-care and independence.
• Provide services per resident service plans (e.g., bathing, toileting, transfers, mobility).
• Build relationships with residents.

As a Caregiver/Nurse Aid at Trustwell Living, your responsibilities will include:

• Adhere to and convey a philosophy of supporting dignity, privacy, independence, choice, individuality, and a home-like environment for residents.
• Assist with instrumental activities of daily living, ADLs, environmental orientation, and assistance with other care while encouraging self-care and independence.
• Provide services as indicated on resident service plans, including but not limited to bathing assistance, toileting assistance, transfer, and mobility assistance.
• Build relationships with the amazing people who live in our community.

The ideal candidate will:

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of the current state-specific certification, where required.
• Be willing to obtain CPR/First Aid Certification
• Have a genuine interest in caring for elderly residents and working in a geriatric environment
• Must be available some weekends and holidays*
