Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role preferred.
• CNA certification required by state where applicable.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Able to read, write and verbally communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with bathing, toileting, transfers and mobility.
• Support instrumental activities of daily living and environmental orientation.
• Provide care according to resident service plans while promoting independence and dignity.
• Build positive relationships with residents and team.

As a Caregiver/ Certified Nurse Assistant, you are responsible for the following:

• Adhere to and convey a philosophy of supporting dignity, privacy, independence, choice, individuality, and a home-like environment for residents.
• Assist with instrumental activities of daily living, ADLs, environmental orientation, and assistance with other care while encouraging self-care and independence.
• Provide services as indicated on resident service plans, including but not limited to bathing assistance, toileting assistance, transfer, and mobility assistance.
• Build relationships with the amazing people who live in our community.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role preferred.
• CNA when required by the state
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred
