Job summary

Priority Management Group, LLC is hiring at Columbus Oaks Healthcare Community in Columbus, TX for a CNA/Medication Aide role. The position requires a Texas CNA and a Texas Medication Aide certification with good standing, and involves day shifts on 12‑hour schedules (7a‑7p) with every other weekend off.

Responsibilities include medication administration, resident monitoring, vital signs, and responding to care needs while delivering compassionate, patient‑centered care within a supportive team

Qualifications

• Must have a current, valid Texas CNA certification in good standing.
• Must have current Texas Medication Aide certification in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Verifies identity of resident and records drug administration details.
• Presents medication and observes ingestion or administers as prescribed.
• Monitors vital signs and reports unexpected reactions.
• Records temperatures, BP, pulse, respiration and intake/output.
• Responds to signal lights and intercom regarding resident needs.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Verifies identity of resident receiving medication and records name of drug, dosage and time of administration on specified forms or records.
• Presents medication to resident and observes ingestion or other application or administers medication using specified procedures.
• Takes vital signs or observes residents to detect response to specified types of medications and prepares report or notifies designated personnel of unexpected reactions.
• Takes and records temperatures, blood pressure, pulse and respiration rates and food and fluid intake and output as directed.
• Answers signal lights, bells or intercom system to determine resident needs.
• Other duties as assigned.
