Responsibilities

• Verifies identity of resident receiving medication and records drug name, dosage and administration time.
• Presents medication to resident and observes ingestion or administration per procedures.
• Takes vital signs or monitors responses to medications and notifies staff of unusual reactions.
• Records temperatures, blood pressure, pulse, respiration, and fluid intake/output as directed.
• Responds to signal lights, bells or intercom to determine resident needs.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Answers signal lights, bells or intercom system to determine resident needs.
• Other duties as assigned.
