Job summary

Priority Management Group, LLC is seeking a compassionate CNA with Texas Medication Aide certification to join Hilltop Park Rehabilitation and Care Center in Weatherford, TX. This day-shift role focuses on delivering direct resident care and accurate medication administration.

Duties include verifying resident identity, presenting medications, recording administration, monitoring vital signs, responding to signals, and reporting unusual reactions.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current, valid Texas CNA certification in good standing.
• Must hold a current Texas Medication Aide certification in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Verifies identity of resident receiving medication and records drug, dosage and time of administration on forms.
• Presents medication to resident and observes ingestion or administers medication per procedures.
• Monitors resident response to medications and reports unexpected reactions.
• Takes vital signs (temperature, BP, pulse, respiration) and tracks food and fluid intake as directed.
• Responds to signal lights and intercom; meets resident needs.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Takes vital signs or observes residents to detect response to specified types of medications and prepares report or notifies designated personnel of unexpected reactions.
• Takes and records temperatures, blood pressure, pulse and respiration rates and food and fluid intake and output as directed.
• Answers signal lights, bells or intercom system to determine resident needs.
• Other duties as assigned.
