Vail Health Hospital is seeking a Medical Assistant to support providers and clinical teams with patient care and administrative tasks. You will manage phone calls, portal messages, and accurate EHR documentation to ensure seamless patient care.

Applicants should hold one or more national or state certifications listed and have basic medical terminology knowledge, HIPAA/OSHA familiarity, and at least 2 years of relevant experience. This is a hospital-based, on-site role with solid benefits.

Formación

• Basic knowledge of medical terminology, medical equipment, HIPAA compliance, and OSHA rules and regulations required.
• 2 years of experience with applicable patient care and administrative duties preferred.
• Independently assist providers and clinical teams with patient care and admin duties.
• Accurate documentation in the patient’s electronic health record (EHR).
• Communicate with clinical care team as needed.

Responsabilidades

• Independently assist providers and clinical teams with patient care and administrative duties.
• Fields patient calls and voicemails promptly and professionally.
• Addresses patient portal and EHR messages within established timeframes.
• Ensures accuracy and proper documentation in the patient’s electronic health record.
