Upperline Health Inc. is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant for our primary care team in Baltimore, MD. The role combines in-office clinical duties with care coordination beyond visits, supporting chronic disease management and referrals.

Responsibilities include rooming patients, obtaining histories and vitals, injections, phlebotomy, EKGs, and wound care. EMR experience preferred; AthenaHealth ideal. Full-time, team-oriented environment with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• CMA certification is required.
• Two years MA experience preferred.
• Primary care or outpatient clinic experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology and pharmacology.
• EMR experience preferred; AthenaHealth ideal.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.

Responsabilités

• Room patients and obtain medical history and vitals.
• Administer injections/immunizations and perform phlebotomy.
• Conduct EKGs, POC testing, and assist with minor procedures.
• Wound care and dressing changes; administer medications per protocol.
• Coordinate referrals/follow-up and support chronic disease management.
• Assist with prior authorizations and close care gaps with the team.
