Job summary

Georgia Connections Academy seeks certified teachers to deliver high-quality virtual instruction for K-12 students in Georgia. You will teach both live and asynchronous lessons, provide interventions as needed, and engage with families using data to drive student growth.

The role requires regular in-person participation across Georgia for meetings, events, and assessments, with a mix of home-office work within the state. A Georgia teaching certificate is required.

Qualifications

• Georgia teaching certification in the subject area.
• Georgia Clearance Certificate or ability to obtain within 30 days.
• Strong technology skills with Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality synchronous instruction and create asynchronous resources.
• Provide differentiated Tier 1 instruction and plan Tier 2/3 interventions.
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to ensure accommodations are implemented.
• Use data to diagnose learning needs, plan instruction, and monitor progress.
• Maintain knowledge of courses and K-12 curriculum pathways.
