Job summary

Georgia Connections Academy in Georgia is seeking certified teachers to deliver synchronous and asynchronous virtual instruction to K–12 students. Teachers work from the Duluth office and a home office within Georgia, supporting students through data-driven instruction and MTSS/RTI interventions.

Roles involve in-person travel within the state for meetings, events, and testing, along with virtual administration of assessments and family engagement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in the content area or related field.
• Certification/licensure as Georgia teacher; Georgia Clearance Certificate required within 30 days of hire.
• Must be able to obtain Georgia teaching certification in the subject area.
• Strong technology skills with Microsoft Office products and Google Suite.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality synchronous instruction and create asynchronous resources aligned to GACA curriculum and state standards.
• Provide differentiated Tier 1 instruction and collaborate within MTSS/RTI to plan and deliver Tier 2/3 interventions.
• Collaborate with teachers and support staff to ensure accommodations are implemented with fidelity.
• Use assessment data to diagnose student learning needs, plan instruction, monitor progress, and adjust strategies.
• Maintain attendance records, communication logs, and intervention documentation.
