Job summary

Georgia Connections Academy is seeking certified teachers to support K-12 students through high-quality virtual instruction from the Duluth, GA area. Teachers deliver synchronous and asynchronous lessons, provide intervention and enrichment, and engage families while using data to drive learning goals.

Role requires travel within Georgia for mandatory in-person activities, state testing, and events. The position supports a hybrid work model with both in-office and home-based responsibilities

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in the content area and Georgia teaching certification.
• Georgia Clearance Certificate through the Department of Education.
• Strong technology skills (Microsoft Office & Google Suite).
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
• Willingness to travel within Georgia for events.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality synchronous instruction and create asynchronous resources aligned to state standards.
• Provide differentiated Tier 1 instruction and plan Tier 2 and 3 interventions.
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to ensure accommodations are implemented.
• Use data to diagnose learning needs, plan instruction, monitor progress, and adjust strategies.
• Maintain attendance records and progress documentation.
• Conduct parent conferences and communicate progress to families.
• Support state assessments and in-person/virtual testing as required.
