Job summary

Norman Regional Health System is seeking a Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) to provide expert hand, wrist, elbow, and shoulder rehabilitation. You will perform evaluations, design and fit custom orthoses, and develop individualized care plans in collaboration with hand surgeons and therapists.

Responsibilities include supervising OT staff and students, delivering post-surgical rehabilitation, and educating patients on orthosis use and precautions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Doctor of Physical Therapy or Doctor of Occupational Therapy preferred.
• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and establish treatment plans.
• Provide orthotic fabrication and custom splints for hand/upper extremity.
• Directs and supervises OT assistants, students, and support staff.
• Treat post-surgical and injury rehabilitation cases, including scar management and return-to-work.
• Collaborate with hand surgeons, physicians, and other therapists for interdisciplinary care.
