Job summary

The Norman Regional Health System invites a skilled Certified Hand Therapist to join the rehabilitation team. You will evaluate and treat the hand, wrist, elbow, and shoulder, develop recovery plans, and lead orthotic fabrication for upper-extremity conditions.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's degree with a Doctorate preferred, are licensed as PT or OT in the state, and possess a CHT credential plus CPR/BLS. 3+ years of experience and collaborative care are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Doctor of Physical Therapy or Doctor of Occupational Therapy preferred.
• Graduate of an accredited OT program.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial and ongoing assessments; establish plan of care.
• Directs and supervises OT assistants, students and support personnel.
• Design, fabricate, fit, and adjust orthoses and splints for hand and upper-extremity conditions; educate patients on wear and care.
