Job summary

Norman Regional Health System is seeking a Certified Hand Therapist to lead specialized hand, wrist, elbow, and shoulder rehabilitation. You will evaluate patients, develop recovery plans, and supervise OT staff in a fast-paced outpatient setting.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree and a current PT/OT license; a CHT credential is preferred. Experience in upper-extremity rehab and orthotic fabrication is highly valued, with opportunities for teaching and leadership within the team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Doctor of Physical Therapy or Doctor of Occupational Therapy preferred.
• Graduate of an accredited OT program.
• Current state license for PT or OT.
• Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) credential.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial and ongoing assessments of hand/upper-extremity condition.
• Develop and adjust plans of care; provide interventions.
• Direct and supervise OT Assistants, students, and support staff.
• Design and fit custom orthoses and splints; educate on use.
• Manage post-surgical and injury rehab; scar and edema care.
• Collaborate with hand surgeons and other clinicians; participate in case discussions.
• Document services delivered.
