Job summary

Norman Regional Health System is seeking a Certified Hand Therapist to deliver specialized rehabilitation for the hand, wrist, elbow, and shoulder. You will perform evaluations, develop recovery plans, and supervise OT staff, with a focus on orthotic fabrication and post-surgical rehab.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and a current state PT or OT license, with CHT credential and CPR/BLS. Experience in orthopedic and post-surgical rehab is preferred.

Qualifications

• Initial and ongoing assessments and care planning.
• Age-appropriate therapeutic interventions.
• Documentation of OT/PT services.

Responsibilities

• Directs OT Assistants, students and support staff.
• Designs and fits custom hand/upper-extremity orthoses.
• Educates patients on orthosis wear, care, and precautions.
• Treats post-surgical and injury-related conditions.
• Collaborates with surgeons and other clinicians.
• Participates in care planning and case discussions.
