Job summary

Norman Regional Health System is seeking a Certified Hand Therapist to lead specialized hand, wrist, elbow, and shoulder rehabilitation. Responsibilities include evaluating patients, developing recovery plans, and supervising OT staff in a collaborative care setting.

The role requires 3+ years in upper-extremity rehab, a current OT or PT license, and a valid CPR/BLS certification, with a preference for a CHT and OT doctoral-level education.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of upper-extremity rehabilitation and outpatient therapy.
• Current state PT or OT license.
• Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) credential.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Graduate of an approved Occupational Therapy program.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and establish plan of care.
• Provide therapeutic interventions appropriate to age and disability.
• Document delivery of Occupational Therapy services.
• Directs and supervises OT Assistants, students and support personnel.
• Design, fabricate, fit and adjust custom orthoses and splints; educate patients on care.
