Job summary

Norman Regional Health System is seeking a Certified Hand Therapist to lead specialized rehabilitation for the hand, wrist, elbow, and shoulder. You will evaluate patients, create recovery plans, and coordinate care with a multidisciplinary team.

The role emphasizes orthotic fabrication, post-surgical rehab, scar management, edema control, and return-to-work strategies while mentoring staff and students. A valid OT/PT license and CHT credential are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) credential.
• Current state PT or OT license.
• CPR/BLS certification.
• Graduate of accredited Occupational Therapy program.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial and ongoing assessments and establish care plans.
• Provide therapeutic interventions for upper-extremity rehab.
• Document delivery of Occupational Therapy services.
• Direct and supervise OT assistants, students and support staff.
• Design, fabricate, fit and adjust custom orthoses and splints.
• Treat post-surgical and injury rehabilitation cases.
• Collaborate with hand surgeons, physicians, therapists and other professionals.
