Job summary

Norman Regional Health System is seeking a Certified Hand Therapist to lead specialized rehabilitation of the hand, wrist, elbow, and shoulder. You will evaluate patients, develop recovery plans, and oversee therapy delivery in a collaborative clinical setting.

The role requires 3+ years in upper-extremity rehab, a current OT/PT license, and CHT certification. You will work with surgeons and therapists, provide orthotic fabrication, and contribute to interdisciplinary care planning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field required.
• OT or PT Doctorate preferred.
• Graduate of an accredited OT program.
• 3+ years experience in upper-extremity rehab and outpatient therapy.
• Current state PT or OT license.
• CHT credential required.
• CPR/BLS certification current.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient condition and establish plan of care.
• Supervise OTAs, students and support staff.
• Design and fit custom hand/upper-extremity orthoses.
• Treat orthopedic, traumatic, burn, tendon, nerve injuries and post-op rehabilitation, including scar management and return-to-work.
• Collaborate with hand surgeons and other clinicians in care planning.
