Job summary

Norman Regional Health System is seeking a Certified Hand Therapist to provide specialized rehabilitation for the hand, wrist, elbow, and shoulder. You will assess patients, design recovery plans, and fabricate custom orthoses.

The role requires 3+ years in upper-extremity rehab, active PT/OT license, and CHT credential, with CPR/BLS current. Collaboration with surgeons and therapists is essential in a patient-centered program.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Doctor of Physical Therapy or Doctor of Occupational Therapy preferred.
• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
• 3+ years of experience in upper-extremity rehabilitation and outpatient therapy.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and develop plans of care.
• Provide splinting and orthotic fabrication.
• Supervise OT Assistants, students and support staff.
• Treat post-surgical and injury-related conditions including scar management and edema control.
• Collaborate with hand surgeons and other healthcare professionals.
• Document services delivered and maintain accurate records.

Education

Bachelor's degree

Doctor of Physical Therapy or Doctor of Occupational Therapy (preferred)

Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program

3+ years upper-extremity rehabilitation experience
