Job summary

Norman Regional Health System seeks a Certified Hand Therapist to lead upper-extremity rehabilitation, including evaluation, splinting, wound and edema care, and return-to-work rehab. You will supervise OT staff and students, collaborate with surgeons and physicians, and contribute to care planning.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree with OT/PT credentials; CHT is preferred, plus CPR/BLS. Experience in orthopedic and post-surgical rehab is valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Doctor of Physical Therapy or Doctor of Occupational Therapy preferred.
• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial and ongoing assessments and establish plan of care.
• Provide therapeutic interventions appropriate to age and disability.
• Document delivery of Occupational Therapy services.
• Directs and supervises activities of OT staff and students.
• Design, fabricate, fit, and adjust custom orthoses and splints for hand and upper-extremity conditions.
• Collaborate with hand surgeons, physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
• Treat orthopedic, traumatic, burn, tendon, nerve, and postoperative conditions.
