Norman Regional Health System invites applications for a Certified Hand Therapist to lead upper-extremity rehabilitation, orthotic fabrication, and post-surgical recovery plans. The role collaborates with hand surgeons and therapists to deliver patient-centered care.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's degree with DPT/OTD preferred and an active PT or OT license, plus CHT certification. Experience in orthotics and education of patients is valued in a multidisciplinary team setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Doctoral degree preferred (PT/OT).
• 3+ years of experience in upper-extremity rehab and outpatient therapy.
• Current state PT or OT license; CHT credential.
• CPR/BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient condition and establish plan of care.
• Provide therapeutic interventions for upper-extremity rehab.
• Document delivery of OT therapy services.
• Direct and supervise OT assistants, students, and support personnel.
• Design, fabricate, fit, and adjust custom hand/upper-extremity orthoses.
• Educate patients on orthosis wear, care, and precautions.
• Treat post-surgical and injury rehab cases.
• Collaborate with hand surgeons and other professionals.
• Participate in interdisciplinary care planning.
