Qualifications

• U.S. citizen or otherwise authorized to work in the U.S.
• Bachelor's Degree or internationally comparable degree required.
• Willing to work flexible shift hours and possibly weekends (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Reviews freight volume and forecasts with Operations to conduct load planning (staffing, driver availability, etc.).
• Creates contingency plans for excess and low freight volume in specific lanes to meet goals and handle variances.
• Communicates plans with Operations to handle freight volume and meet service levels.
• Monitors freight movement to anticipate issues impacting cost and mitigate delays.
• Plans equipment needs for contracts and rails to reduce non-productive schedules and cost.
