Job summary

KidStrong is seeking a General Manager to lead a busy center, focusing on growth, culture, and delivering an exceptional experience for kids and families. You will develop and train the coaching team, foster relationships with members, and drive key business results including sales performance and reducing attrition.

The role requires overseeing operations, coaching leadership, scheduling, and partnering with HQ on standards.

Qualifications

• Athletic or coaching background with experience working with kids aged 15 months to 11 years.
• Coach Certification required and must complete HQ Training.
• Provide LearnUpon training as required by HQ.
• Comfortable communicating with parents/guardians about topics related to coaching and development.
• Experience with pediatric-related roles is a plus but not required.
• Minimum considerable management experience is required.
• Proficient with Google and Microsoft platforms.
• Experience with systems such as ZenPlanner, LearnUpon, CareerPlug, ADP, and FranConnect preferred but not required.
• Understanding of physiology, exercise techniques, and body mechanics.

Responsibilities

• Understand and monitor center KPIs and financials to guide decisions.
• Build relationships with KidStrong families and deliver excellent service.
• Oversee center initiatives like maintenance, training, and brand consistency.
• Schedule and assign center tasks, ensuring consistent execution.
• Manage employee issues and documentation.
• Coordinate a schedule with 4 weekdays and 1 weekend shift pattern.
• Manage coaching schedules and event promotions to maximize profitability.
• Lead coaching staff development and center meetings.
