Job summary

Octapharma Plasma is seeking a Center Operations Manager II to oversee donor center operations, ensuring compliance with FDA SOPs, OSHA, CLIA, and GMP standards. You will drive production targets, supervise staff, and lead safety and CAPA initiatives in a fast-paced center environment.

The role emphasizes collaboration with multiple departments, optimizing costs, and maintaining high quality in shipments and processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree preferred. Other combinations of education and experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Maintains a thorough understanding of and ensures total operation is compliant with state and federal regulations (e.g., FDA approved SOPs, OSHA, CLIA, GMP) to maintain highest production standards and facility compliance.
• Assists in hosting internal and external inspections conducted by regulatory agencies and customers.
• Collaborates in quality improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and product quality.
• Collaborates with relevant departments to implement CAPA to address identified issues.
• Responsible for mitigating and resolving safety concerns.
• Oversees preventive maintenance of donor center equipment to ensure good working order.
• Prepares product shipments and ensures compliance per SOPs.
• Assists with achieving targeted production in quantity and quality and optimizing operational cost including inventory management.
• Provides feedback for comprehensive employee performance evaluations, PIPs, IDPs and corrective actions as applicable.
• Collaborates on employment decisions including hiring, promotions, demotions, and terminations that align with business needs.
• Regularly conducts area walkthroughs with a visible presence in production zones.
• Assists with schedule and payroll records to optimize allocation of employee hours.
• Coordinates staff and leadership meetings to enhance efficiencies and productivity.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
