Octapharma Plasma, North Riverside, IL, is seeking a Center Operations Manager II to oversee donor center operations and ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations. You will supervise staff, coordinate production targets, and maintain safety and quality across shifts.

Responsibilities include managing inspections, CAPA actions, preventive maintenance, shipments, and payroll, with a focus on efficiency and cost control while guiding a positive donor center culture and career growth.

Qualifications

• Strong communication, organizational skills are essential.
• 1-3 years of people management experience required.
• Background in financial management and/or budgeting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintains understanding of and ensures total operation is compliant with state and federal regulations (FDA SOPs, OSHA, CLIA, GMP).
• Assists in hosting internal and external inspections conducted by regulatory agencies and customers.
• Collaborates in quality improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and product quality.
• Collaborates with relevant departments to implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to address identified issues.
• Responsible for mitigating and resolving safety concerns.
• Oversees the performance of preventive maintenance of donor center equipment to ensure it is well-maintained.
• Prepares product shipments and ensures compliance per Standard Operating Procedures.
• Assists with achieving targeted production and optimizing operational costs including inventory management.
• Provides feedback for employee performance evaluations and development plans.
• Collaborates on employment decisions including hiring, promotions, demotions, and terminations.
• Regularly conducts area walkthroughs and maintains presence in production zones.
• Assists with scheduling and payroll records to optimize staff hours.
• Coordinates staff and leadership meetings to enhance efficiencies and productivity.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
