Job summary

Octapharma Plasma seeks a Center Operations Manager I to lead donor center operations, staffing, training, and regulatory compliance. You will oversee performance evaluations, hiring decisions, and development while maintaining a positive culture and safety standards.

This role requires coordinating with maintenance, payroll, and marketing teams, optimizing processes, and ensuring productivity in production areas. The position is full-time and on-site at our Baltimore, MD centers.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 12 months of applicable experience.
• Up to 1 year of operations and/or process management/supervisory experience preferred.
• Up to 1 year of people management, including recruiting, training, etc.
• Ability to work daytime and evening hours, weekends, holidays, extended shifts.
• Experience in a highly regulated industry preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide feedback for performance evaluations and development plans.
• Collaborates on hiring, promotions, demotions, and terminations to align with business needs.
• Nurtures a positive culture within the donor center and upholds core values.
• Assists in employee relations investigations.
• Designated Trainer for on-the-job and certification training with regulatory alignment.
• Oversees preventive maintenance of donor center equipment to keep it in good order.
• Identify opportunities for process optimization and best practices.
• Conducts area walkthroughs with a visible presence in production zones.
• Facilitates productivity in production areas with needed support.
• Collaborates with marketing and corporate departments to enhance operations.
• Assists with scheduling and payroll records to optimize hours.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
