Job summary

Octapharma Plasma, Inc. is seeking a center operations leader to manage daily donor center operations in a fast‑paced, highly regulated environment. You will oversee compliance with FDA SOPs, CAPA actions, and safety programs while driving quality, efficiency, and productivity.

Responsibilities include staff training, scheduling, performance evaluations, and maintaining equipment readiness. You will foster an inclusive culture, lead by example, and support donor relations and operational targets.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, or GED, with 12 months applicable experience.
• 1 year of operations and/or process management/supervisory experience preferred.
• 1 year of people management preferred including recruiting, training, etc.
• Trained in all production areas.

Responsibilities

• Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local regulations to ensure safety and quality.
• Assist with inspections, audits, and CAPA implementation with other departments.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and processes.
• Promote Safety, Health, and Environmental policies; conduct safety training and maintain a safe workplace.
• Oversee preventive maintenance of donor center equipment and facility cleanliness.
• Safeguard storage equipment; manage product shipments and recalls per SOPs.
• Support production targets, cost optimization, and inventory management.
• Provide input on performance evaluations, hiring, promotions, and terminations.
• Foster a positive, inclusive culture and adherence to HR policies.
• Act as a Designated Trainer for on-the-job and certification training.
• Maintain visible leadership through area walkthroughs to boost productivity.
• Cultivate donor relationships to support retention and marketing initiatives.
• Manage scheduling, payroll records, and staff meetings.
• Monitor KPIs and address deficiencies with leadership.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
