Job summary

The USO in San Antonio, TX is seeking a Center Operations Specialist to manage the daily operations of one or more USO Centers. You will ensure a safe, welcoming environment for service members and their families while delivering high-quality programs and events.

You will coordinate volunteers, assist with budgets and program evaluation, and work with military and community partners to advance the USO mission. Excellent customer service and relationship-building are essential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years work experience in event management, marketing, retail, customer service, recreation facility or related role.
• Preference for experience in a non-profit, military, multicultural and/or global organization.

Responsibilities

• Execute day-to-day Center operations with a cost-effective, safe, welcoming environment.
• Engage Center visitors; serve as a subject matter expert on amenities, tours, classes, programs and services.
• Assist with budget, inventory reporting and cash handling; provide data for reports.
