Job summary

KidStrong Murray is seeking a General Manager to lead center operations, sales, and a high-performing coaching team in Murray, UT. You will drive key metrics, develop staff, and foster a culture focused on learning and exceptional family experiences.

The role emphasizes recruiting, coaching development, and delivering strong business results while maintaining KidStrong values and safety standards across activities for children up to 11 years old.

Qualifications

• Athletic/coaching background with kids 15 months–11 years is preferred.
• Coach Certification through HQ Training and Certification.
• LearnUpon training completion as required by HQ Training.
• Comfortable speaking with parents/guardians on a variety of topics.
• Pediatric OT/PT experience is a plus but not required.
• Previous management experience is required.
• Proficiency with Google and Microsoft platforms.
• Experience with ZenPlanner, LearnUpon, CareerPlug, ADP, and FranConnect is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of physiology, exercise techniques, and body mechanics.

Responsibilities

• Understand the center's KPIs and financials to guide responsible decisions.
• Build relationships with families and deliver exceptional customer service.
• Oversee center-level initiatives such as maintenance, training, and brand consistency.
• Schedule, promote and sell KidStrong events to maximize profitability.
• Recruit, screen, onboard, train, and evaluate coaching staff.
• Lead coaching team through training and development programs.
• Ensure compliance with policy and law in staffing and documentation.
• Attend weekly leadership meetings and lead center staff meetings.
