Job summary

Skilz for Kids Mount Prospect seeks a General Manager to lead the center, develop coaching staff, and drive business results. You will cultivate a culture of learning for coaches and families, manage KPIs, and deliver exceptional customer experiences.

You will oversee operations, sales, and leadership activities, coordinate events, and ensure strong relationships with families while maintaining brand standards and profitability.

Qualifications

• Experience coaching children aged 15 months to 11 years.
• Must obtain Coach Certification through HQ Training and Certification.
• Proficient with LearnUpon training platform and related systems.
• Excellent communication with parents/guardians.
• Previous pediatric OT/PT experience is a plus but not required.
• Prior management experience is required.
• Strong familiarity with Google and Microsoft suites.
• Experience with scheduling and center management platforms.

Responsibilities

• Understand and act on center KPIs and financials.
• Build relationships with families and ensure exceptional customer service.
• Oversee center initiatives like maintenance and branding.
• Manage scheduling, events, and center profitability.
• Lead recruitment, onboarding, and coaching staff development.
• Conduct weekly leadership meetings and cross-team communication.
• Coach students with KidStrong curriculum and data tracking.
• Ensure compliance with policy and proper paperwork.
