Job summary

KidStrong is seeking a General Manager to drive sales, operations, and team leadership at our Portland center. You’ll lead membership growth, optimize day-to-day operations, and cultivate a high-performing, mission-driven culture that serves families with energy and care.

This is a fast-paced, leadership role requiring accountability, a hands-on approach, and the ability to build trust with families while managing KPIs, scheduling, and budgets.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of leadership experience in sales, fitness, education, or service-based roles.
• Proven outbound phone sales experience (100+ calls/week).
• Experience tracking KPIs, revenue, scheduling, payroll, and team performance.
• Strong tech proficiency with Google Workspace and web apps.
• Bachelor’s or associate degree in business, education, or related field preferred.
• Available for 3–4 weekday evenings and weekend day(s).

Responsibilities

• Drive membership growth and lead generation.
• Oversee center operations, front desk, transactions, scheduling.
• Lead and develop team; build culture.
• Collaborate with Coaching Team to align classes.
• Hit KPIs for trials, conversions, revenue, communications.
