Job summary

Skilz for Kids is seeking a General Manager to lead a KidStrong center, focusing on coaching, operations, sales, and team development. You will drive KPI performance, build strong relationships with families, and deliver an exceptional customer experience across programs, events, and daily operations.

You will recruit and train staff, manage scheduling, and coordinate with HQ to ensure program quality and growth in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Athletic or coaching background with kids aged 15 months to 11 years.
• Must obtain Coach Certification through HQ Training and Certification team.
• Complete LearnUpon training as required by HQ team.
• Able to communicate with parents/guardians on various topics.
• Experience in management is required.
• Experience with Google and Microsoft products.
• Familiarity with fitness/coaching platforms is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead center operations and meet KPIs and financial targets.
• Build relationships with families and deliver exceptional customer service.
• Oversee center initiatives like maintenance, training, and brand consistency.
• Schedule shifts and manage staff, including weekend coverage.
• Drive enrollment through events, bookings, and lead management.
• Coach and mentor coaching staff and ensure program quality.
• Lead monthly staff meetings on culture and performance.
• Collaborate with HQ and center leadership.
